Bacon Bean Dip
Layered Bacon Bean Dip baked with melted cheese and crisp bacon, served warm with Mi Niña Organic Sea Salt Tortilla Chips.
Ingredients:
- 6 slices of bacon diced and cooked crisp
- 1 cup Mexican blend shredded cheese
- 30 oz can Refried Beans
- I teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon Chipotle Chile Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Mix Niña Organic Sea Salt Tortilla Chips
Instructions:
1. Dice bacon and fry very crisp, drain on a paper towel and set aside
2. While bacon is cooking, mix all of the seasoning together.
3. In the same skillet with the bacon grease empty the can of refried beans on medium heat. Sprinkle the seasoning on the beans and incorporate the beans with the seasoning and bacon grease.
4. When the beans are heated well, turn the heat off. In a small baking dish, place half of the beans, then half the cheese, and then half the bacon.
5. Place remaining beans on top and then the rest of the cheese and bacon. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly.
6. Serve warm with Mi Niña Sea Salt Tortilla chips and enjoy!
